Sunset near Titus Canyon

We spent our first day at Rhyolite then drove down Titus Canyon to the floor of Death Valley.  The sun had just set as we got to an open spot.  The red glow of sunset is still there, but muted and soft.  This was plop down and grab the shot as quickly as possible.

Moonset - Twenty Mule Team Canyon

After our sunrise at Zabriskie Point we drove through Twenty Mule Team Canyon.  As you might guess from the name, there were many borax mines in this area. We each hiked off in a different direction looking for something to shoot.  The lighting was harsh so I looked for something to show contrast and shapes.  I like the strong S curve leading up to the setting moon.
