Schnebly Hill RoadBack to Sedona Main Page
Click Images To See Larger Version Schnebly Hill Road is a steep dirt road that used to be the access to Sedona in times long past. Now it mainly provides a great overlook of the valley below. This is from the crest of the road looking down over a prickly pear cactus. I became intimately acquainted with one of these while zipping up my photo pack. I ended up jamming one of the spines deep into my thumb. I didn't curse, but I did yell pretty loudly.
I like the way the tree frames this view from the lower part of the road.
